West End of an East Bound Sheep

As a kid, one of my favourite activity was going to Jasper and Banff and looking for for wildlife. I remember one trip when I was 12 , we saw a herd of Mountain Sheep (ewes and lambs) feeding on the side of the Yellowhead Hwy before Jasper. I got out of our car to take a picture. The sheep just keep eating. I wanted too get a better picture, so I took one step towards them. The sheep looked up and took one step away from me. So I took another step towards them and the sheep took another one away. So I took another one towards them and guest what the sheep did. They took another aways. So I repeated my move and they repeated theirs, Again and again etc. All the while my dad was laughing watching me chase a bunch of sheep down the road but I did a great picture of the West End of an East bound sheep.

I kept that picture for along time but can no longer find it so I have decided to add a picture of Mountain sheep from my 2005 trip. If I can find the old picture I will replace it.

Does anyone else have any stories of making a fool of themselves while trying to get a wildlife picture?
